Hand-knotted in fine wool, Amberfield layers muted gold, slate blue, and soft stone tones across a field of gently eroded floral forms. Its large-scale pattern draws from the Ziegler–Sultanabad rugs woven in late 19th-century Persia—pieces originally commissioned for Western interiors and known for their open composition and quiet elegance. At 8x10, it offers warmth and balance to a seating or dining area, pairing historic design language with a modern, mineral-toned finish.
Design note: A contemporary take on the Ziegler–Sultanabad tradition, inspired by the large-scale Mahal workshop weavings of late 19th-century Persia.
