Crimson Suzani

Crimson Suzani is a radiant ode to Central Asian textile tradition, translated into a woolen weave that feels both historic and alive. Inspired by 19th century Uzbek suzani embroideries, the design celebrates fertility, abundance, and the cosmic cycle, motifs once hand stitched onto dowry cloths as blessings for love and prosperity.

We went through countless suzani textiles in archives and bazaars, spoke to collectors, and studied old embroidery fragments before arriving at this composition, one that holds on to the spirit of the original while feeling effortless and modern. Its deep crimson, indigo, and gold tones shift beautifully with the light, lending warmth and richness to any space. It’s a rug that doesn’t just decorate but tells a story of women, craftsmanship, and continuity.
