Sand Garden Runner

Sand Garden Runner reimagines the classic Persian Bakhtiari panel design, a layout once meant to represent the gardens of paradise, through a modern lens of restraint and light. Each softly defined square hints at floral and medallion motifs, but the washed palette of sand, bone, and faint ash grey makes it feel fresh and architectural.
Hand knotted in fine wool, its texture carries a gentle sheen that shifts with the light, giving the runner quiet depth. The muted tones make it easy to place in modern interiors, whether along a hallway, beside a bed, or leading to an open living space, where it adds warmth without demanding attention.

Design note: Traditionally, Bakhtiari weavers filled their rugs with bold, jewel toned gardens. Here, that same geometry is pared back to its bones, celebrating negative space and subtle contrast, creating a timeless design that feels calm and current.
